Start conversationally, approve the shape, let Tool Mode implement, then refine and deploy from the same workspace.

  1. 01 Describe the product Start with the outcome, audience, and any constraints. BYOB turns the idea into a practical build plan.
  2. 02 Shape the UX Review the proposed flows, screens, data needs, and visual direction before code starts moving.
  3. 03 Generate the app Tool Mode writes SvelteKit code, connects integrations, and keeps each change visible in preview.
  4. 04 Test and refine Ask for edits, roll back when needed, run checks, and keep the project editable instead of disposable.
  5. 05 Deploy Ship the finished app, connect domains, and keep iterating from the same workspace.

Built for shipping

The parts that usually slow you down are already here.

BYOB handles product planning, implementation, preview, testing, database work, and deployment from one focused interface, with coding-agent access and production analytics when you want to keep working from your own terminal.

This part is hands-on. The cards drift until you touch them. Drag to rearrange, or press and hold one to feel it push back.

Agent integrations

Give Codex, Claude Code, or Antigravity scoped access through BYOB CLI or Agent MCP. Your agent reads context, edits code, tests previews, and deploys from your terminal.

Git history and diffs

Every change lands as a commit. Inspect history, compare diffs, and see exactly what changed since the last deploy.

Inbox in every project

Every project ships with an inbox. Collect messages, leads, and feedback from your app without wiring a third party.

Email sending built in

Send magic links, OTP codes, and transactional mail from your own sender address. Resend-backed, no SMTP setup.

Google and magic-link login

Offer Continue with Google plus passwordless email codes. Sessions and callbacks are handled.

Custom domains and SSL

Point your domain at BYOB with guided DNS checks. Certificates are automatic.

Visual editing

One-click deploy

Builds publish to production hosting in one step. Deploys can auto-save the project state first.

Deployment analytics

Worker traffic, errors, CPU timing, subrequests, and custom-domain status from the workspace.

Supabase aware

The BYOB Email Broker is a managed sender for generated apps. It sends login and transactional email through provider infrastructure selected by BYOB, so apps call /v1/email/send with app-scoped keys instead of provider secrets. Branded custom sender domains require your own email provider credentials.

One connections call, no provider setup

Registering a sending domain, warming a reputation, and storing a provider key is real overhead for a project that just needs a reset email. The broker removes that step. A generated app calls POST /v1/email/send with an app id and token, and the broker delivers through a configured platform provider. That keeps the first version of an app unblocked: magic links, verification codes, and notifications work on day one, and choosing a long-term provider becomes a later decision rather than a launch blocker.

The sender addresses you get

BYOB chooses a configured provider and returns a project sender, such as an email-prefixed address on a BYOB-managed domain. Each project gets its own address pattern, and the app receives only app-scoped credentials rather than the provider's master key. Recipients see a consistent from-address for your project's email, and replies can be routed back into the project inbox for inspection. The exact domain depends on which provider the platform picks for your project.

Captured email while you build

During development the last thing you want is to email real people while testing a sign-up loop. Captured email appears in the workspace's Email Logs panel, so you can open a magic link, copy a one-time code, or confirm a reset flow without leaving the editor or messaging a teammate to check an inbox. This makes login and onboarding flows testable end to end, and it keeps delivery debugging close to where the email was triggered.

What the broker does not manage

Being clear about the edges saves time. The broker is built around fixed transactional and login templates and does not manage custom sender domains. Arbitrary campaign-style subjects and full HTML bodies, like a marketing newsletter or a rich contact reply, are not the intended path and may be rejected. For a fully branded from-address, deliverability control, or free-form message content, plan to connect your own provider instead of stretching the broker beyond its purpose.

Bringing your own provider

When you do need a branded sender or custom content, the generated app can use your own provider credentials directly from server routes. A Better Auth magic-link callback only has to send a URL to an address, so swapping the broker for a project-owned sender is a contained change. This is the recommended route for production brands: keep the broker for quick starts and internal testing, then graduate to a sender domain you control when reputation and policy matter.

Keeping secrets server-side

Email keys are server credentials. Generated apps read the app id and token from private environment variables and call the broker from a server route or action, never from browser code. The frontend only ever triggers a flow, such as requesting a sign-in link. If a token is missing or rotated, the fix is to re-run the integration setup and persist the new app-scoped values, not to paste a provider secret into client code or a public variable.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I send any HTML and subject through the broker?

The broker centers on fixed transactional and login templates rather than arbitrary campaign content. For fully custom subjects and bodies, connect your own provider.

Can I use my own domain as the sender?

The BYOB Email Broker does not manage custom sender domains. Use your own provider or SMTP credentials when you need a branded from-address.

Where do the app-scoped keys live?

In project environment variables, server-side only. Generated apps call the broker with an app id and token, and provider master credentials never reach the app.

How do I test email without spamming people?

During development, sent mail is captured in the workspace Email Logs panel so you can inspect links and codes safely.

Does it work for magic links and password resets?

Yes. Better Auth's magic-link callback posts to the broker, which is the default passwordless path in generated apps.
